Launch Wars S5: Iron Siege

The Rules

Every rule of the season on one page. Plain words, no fine print.

The money, in 3 lines

1. Every dollar you hold in a wall earns Medals every day, and on Aug 17 the $700 pool splits by Medals.

2. When a wall breaches, its posted bounty pays after a 2 day hold check: half to Founders who bought in its first 24 hours, half to everyone who bought after, counted by what you still hold.

3. Games, raids and posts pay Shells for tanks, upgrades and War Effort bets, plus a small daily Medal bonus that never beats holding.

Medals are just points. More points, bigger share of the cash pool at season end.

What each thing pays

Every way to earn, in one list. Holding is the engine, and everything else is a bonus sitting on top of it.

  • Hold a stronghold: 10 Medals per dollar per day, counted up to $100, plus $10 of ceiling for every extra stronghold you hold at $5 or more, to $150.
  • First scored run of the day: 10 Medals and 15 Shells, from any one game. Later runs still set your score, they just do not pay again.
  • Daily raid: 10 Medals for joining and 20 on a win. That is a total for the day, never a stack.
  • One post a day: 10 Medals, plus a Shell crate if it lands well.
  • War Effort: commit Shells to one wall while it is under 70% filled. A breach returns them doubled with that wall's decal. Shells only, never Medals.
  • Founder window: buy inside a wall's first 24 hours and you share half of that wall's breach bounty.
  • Closer: buy that same wall any time after the first 24 hours and you share the other half.
  • Garrison: keep holding a wall after it breaches and you earn Garrison Medals on it, which split whatever the pool has left at settlement.

Everything that is not holding shares one ceiling of 40 Medals a day. Holding just $5 pays 50 Medals a day on its own, so holding always leads.

Fine print on freshness: a newly listed stronghold pays up to double hold Medals, easing back to normal over 10 days, and the bonus counts fresh money, not money moved from another wall.

What you can earn

Four things come out of this season, and only one of them is money. Every way each one reaches you is on this list.

MedalsPoints, and the only thing your cash share is measured by.
  • Hold a stronghold: a flat 10 Medals a day for every dollar you hold, counted up to $100, and each extra stronghold you hold at $5 or more raises that ceiling by $10, up to $150.
  • Hold more than one: 2 to 5 strongholds move you up the tiers, and each tier adds 5% to your daily hold.
  • Get in early: a newly listed stronghold pays up to double hold Medals, easing back to normal over 10 days.
  • Play the arcade: 10 Medals for your first scored run of the day, from any one game.
  • Play during a siege sprint: 5 extra Medals on that first run while the sprint is live.
  • Join the daily raid: 10 Medals for joining and 20 on a win, as a total for the day.
  • Post about the season: 10 Medals for one qualifying post a day.
  • Everything that is not holding shares one ceiling of 40 Medals a day, and holding just $5 pays 50 a day by itself.
ShellsThe garage currency. Shells buy tanks, paint, gear and War Effort bets. They are never money and never Medals.
  • 15 Shells for your first scored run of the day in each game.
  • Crates at holding milestones: 200 for your first hold, then 100, 150, 250 and 400 as your holding passes $25, $50, $100 and $150.
  • Crates for spreading out: 80, 120, 160 and 250 for your second, third, fourth and fifth stronghold.
  • Daily streaks: 60 Shells at three days, 180 at seven, 450 at fourteen.
  • War Bonds: a tier every 100 Medals you earn, paying 50 Shells at the first tier and rising to 240 at the twentieth.
  • Engagement on your daily post: a crate of 30, 60 or 100 Shells.
  • War Effort pushes pay double while they run.
Real money$1,000 across the season, in two envelopes, all of it operator funded.
  • Season pool $700: split by Medals among qualified holders when the season settles. Hold $5 or more on at least 3 separate days, an anti-bot check and nothing else.
  • Breach bounties $300: posted per wall and paid after a 2 day hold check. Half goes to the Founders who bought in that wall's first 24 hours, half to everyone who bought after, both counted by what you still hold.
  • The wallet that fires the breach shot takes the Wallbreaker card and a season title, not cash.
  • Honors pay no cash. The five finale titles are named at the Aug 17 ceremony.
  • Nothing here is guaranteed money. Never spend what you cannot hold.
TrophiesPermanent, free, and the only things that outlast the season.
  • The Siege Star for holding a stronghold that breaches while you were in it.
  • Decals from crates and streaks, worn on your tank for good.
  • Brothers in Arms and the other named ribbons, awarded by hand for the season's best work.

The game in one breath

Buy and hold any listed stronghold, from $5. Every dollar you hold earns Medals every day, and at season end the pool splits by Medals among qualified holders. When a wall breaches it also pays a posted bounty: half to the Founders who bought in its first 24 hours, half to everyone who bought after, both counted by what you still hold 2 days later.

How the pool settles

$47 of $700 unlocked · bigger strongholds unlock a bigger slice, so the pricey ones are worth the most

The whole $700 pool pays out. A wall that BREACHES puts its full share in, a wall that never falls still puts in the highest percent it ever reached, and the pool then splits by Medals among qualified holders. Whatever the walls keep goes to the GARRISONS: commanders still holding a wall that already breached, split by the Medals they earned on it after the breach. Hold $5 or more on at least 3 separate days of the season to be in the cash split, which is an anti-bot check and nothing else. Nothing here is guaranteed money. Payouts are shared after season end, and the paid-so-far number on the war board is the honest running total.

Holding earns Medals daily

Hold any featured stronghold from $5 and you earn Medals every day, automatically. The rate is flat: 10 Medals per dollar per day, counted up to $100, plus $10 of ceiling for every extra stronghold you hold at $5 or more, up to $150. Example: $25 held earns 250 Medals a day.

Spreading across strongholds raises your tier, from Lone Tank to Armored Division, and a higher tier multiplies the Medals you earn. Your tank and commander are always your own free choice, never tied to what you hold.

The arcade is the fun on top

Four field exercises pay 10 Medals for your first scored run of the day, and everything that is not holding shares one ceiling of 40 Medals a day. Games are for fun and flex; holding is the main engine. Every run is checked server-side, and forged scores are discarded.

Post about the season

One post a day pays 10 Medals. It has to carry the game, and it has to land where the bot can see it.

  • It qualifies when the post carries the game: your run grid, a screenshot or card from one of the games, or your link to tanks.web3guides.com.
  • You need $5 or more held for a post to count.
  • Drop the link in the Discord #content-share channel and the bot credits it automatically.
  • One post a day counts, worth 10 Medals. Post more if you like, it just does not pay more Medals.
  • Engagement pays a Shell crate of 30, 60 or 100 depending on how it lands, never extra Medals.

The five finale titles

Honors pay no cash this season. These five are named once, at the Aug 17 ceremony, and they are yours for good.

  • Siegemaster: for Medals across the whole season.
  • Wallbreaker: for the shot that breaks a wall.
  • Founder of the Siege: for backing walls inside their first 24 hours.
  • Iron Guard: for holding the line all the way to settlement.
  • Raid Marshal: for the daily raid.

Each title's exact definition and its tie-break are published on the war board before the ceremony. Titles are cosmetic, and no title pays cash.

Field manual

What is a domain token?

Every stronghold on the front is a real internet domain that has been turned into a token on Doma. Owning a piece of the token means owning a piece of the domain's onchain value. That is the ground this war is fought on.

What does breached mean?

Each stronghold has a funding bar called a bonding curve. When enough buying fills that bar, the domain graduates onchain. We call that moment the breach, and it is the whole point of the siege.

What is FDV?

FDV is the fully diluted value, the price of one token multiplied by all tokens that will ever exist. Bigger strongholds need a bigger raise to breach. That is why the pricey ones unlock a bigger slice of the pool.

How do I buy?

Tap any stronghold on the map and buy right there in the app: pick $1, $5 or $25 or type your own amount, approve once, and the token is in your wallet seconds later. You pay in USDC.e on the Doma chain, and holding $5 or more is what puts you in the cash split. Never share your seed phrase with anyone, including us.

How do payouts work?

Every stronghold pays into the season pool: its full share when it gets BREACHED, or its peak siege percent if the wall never falls. At season end the pool splits by Medals among qualified holders, and whatever the walls keep goes to the garrisons, the commanders still holding a wall that already breached. Nothing here is guaranteed money, so never spend what you cannot hold.

Is signing in safe?

Joining asks for one wallet signature. It is a plain text message: no transaction, no gas, no approvals, and nothing in your wallet can move from it. If any prompt ever asks for more than a signature, close it and report it on the radio.

Why hold instead of flip?

Medals are just points. More points, bigger share of the cash pool at season end. Holding a stronghold from $5 earns Medals every single day, and Medals decide your share when strongholds breach. Selling early stops the drip and weakens the siege. The Column wins by staying on the field.
